Children’s privacy

TimesOwl is a website that helps you practice times tables. You type answers. The app remembers which facts you know and which ones still need practice, so it can show the right ones next time.

This page is the short version. Grown-ups can read the longer privacy policy.

We keep the name you (or your grown-up) type, so the app can say hello to the right person if more than one kid practices on this device.

We keep which facts you answered, whether they were right, and how long they took — only so the next session can pick better cards. We also keep stars and your streak.

If a grown-up makes a login, we keep their email and a locked-up password. We do not ask you for an email to practice.

We do not show ads from other companies. We do not sell your information. We do not put your name on a public page. There is no chat with strangers.

We do not ask for your photo, your phone number, or where you live.

A parent or guardian can create the login if they want your progress saved for a long time, or if they want to open it on another device. That grown-up can add a brother or sister as another learner in the same household.

That grown-up can clear practice history or delete the household in Settings, or email us. You can ask them to do that.

The site saves a small cookie so this device remembers it is you (or your sibling) and does not lose today’s stars when you close the tab. Another cookie helps us count how the website is used. These stay on timesowl.com. They are not ads.
